Okay so here is my update…….. I’m going nuts! I’m tired of all these doctors! My “team leader” the local doctor, is happy I’m talking about planting my garden, like planting a garden some how changes the fact that I’m dieing. My liver is failing, I have cancer, I have all this shit wrong with me and in no way will planting a garden stop any of that. I am by no means giving up, it’s just I’d like to have some perspective here. I just don’t seem to see things the way they do. I feel like they are blowing smoke just trying to treed water long enough to get by. They have no clue what is wrong with me. They tell me all this shit that is wrong but they can’t tell me why. What caused this or that just that they know this that and the other is going on. Bottom line, I’m loosing it. What the heck did they expect.

I know yet again it has been some time since I updated this thing.
So, the holidays where great. I got to see a few people that I haven’t been able to see in a while. The whole trip was a bit of a whirl wind, but fun. I thought I was well rested for my 6 month check up and cat scan. Oh well I’ve been wrong about worse things. I am finally starting too feel better form the liver biopsy they had to redo last Monday. Apparently they missed the “spot” in the first biopsy because it’s tripled in size. The good news is my lung is healing and the scare tissue doesn’t seem to be to bad. Now I just have to pray the out come of this biopsy isn’t too bad. I was hoping to travel south for my birthday. If the biopsy is bad I wont get to.
We where caught in the ice storm on new years eve. 3.46 inches of ice. Luckily there was no damage just a few limbs fell out of trees. Here are some pics of the wonderful snow we had this week. I hope everyone is having a better year than me!

Todd is outside hanging lights for the solstice this weekend. I plan to spend that time with the kids in the circle. I really can’t wait for the school holiday. Allen is involved in so many things I hardly get to see him. It will be nice to spend longer than a weekend with him, All thought I know I’ll be glad when school starts back. well Just a quick update for all my friends. They are calling for snow in Dallas on Thursday, So 4 thousand people in Texas ran off in a ditch this morning Just to practice. It’s been about 10 years since the metroplex saw snow. I can’t remember the last time in snowed this early in the year anywhere in Texas. Now Snow in the Dodge area I can’t say anything about exsept that this is the earlyest snow for the season since I have lived here, but any way you look at it I realy don’t like snow so I would be just fine if it doesn’t snow. Then the kids would hate me since they want a snow day. can’t win for lossing sometimes but at least I am warm even if it feels like it’s 1 degrees out.
Okay so aside from the weather everyone in my world is good. Hope everyone elses world is well!

Not my words but I can agree. Have a wonderfuly blessed day!*Will Rogers, who died in a plane crash with Wylie Post in 1935, was
probably the greatest political sage this country has ever known. Enjoy the
following: **1. Never slap a man who’s chewing tobacco. **2. Never kick a cow chip on a hot day. **3. There are 2 theories to arguing with a woman…neither works. **4. Never miss a good chance to shut up. **5. Always drink upstream from the herd. **6. If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. **7. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it and put it back in
your pocket. **8. There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading. The few
who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric
fence and find out for themselves. **9. Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad
judgment. **10. If you’re riding’ ahead of the herd, take a look back every now and
then to make sure it’s still there. **11. Lettin’ the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier’n puttin’ it back.
**12. After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started
roaring. He kept it up until a hunter came along and shot him. The moral:
**
When you’re full of bull, keep your mouth shut. **
ABOUT GROWING OLDER… **First ~ Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your
age and start bragging about it. **Second ~ The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.
**Third ~ Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want
people to know “why” I look this way. I’ve traveled a long way and some of
the roads weren’t paved. **Fourth ~ When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to youth,
think of Algebra. **Fifth ~ You know you are getting old when everything either dries up or
leaks. **Sixth ~ I don’t know how I got over the hill without getting to the top. **Seventh ~ One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it is
such a nice change from being young. **Eighth ~ One must wait until evening to see how splendid the day has been.
**Ninth ~ Being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable. **Tenth ~ Long ago when men cursed and beat the ground with sticks, it was
called witchcraft. Today it’s called golf. **And finally ~ If you don’t learn to laugh at trouble, you won’t have
anything to laugh at when you are old.*It is also true that geting old happens but that doesn’t mean you’ve grown up.

I have recently found a new Scott Cunningham book. He is partnered this time with David Harrington. It is a wonderful translation of how “the magical nature of our homes hasn’t changed significantly throughout our evolution from cave dwellers to apartment renters.” I highly recommend it to any magical household.
Okay so I managed to break my foot. Of course I have no clue how I did it and I’ve been walking on it for at least two weeks. It just doesn’t hurt like it’s broken, but it could be up to a year old. Go figure I wouldn’t know if I broke anything. I recently found out I broke my tailbone some time ago and it’s healed already, however I think I know how and when that happened. I just kept going like any good jarhead.
Well School is winding down for the holiday season. Allen’s had one quiz bowl competition and the next isn’t till January. They won two of five competitions at the Greensburg games. He has had 3 basketball games. He doesn’t play the game he helps manage the team (glorified water boy). He is also planning to go out for track. I have to say I am proud of him. He is also competing in the spelling bee again this year to keep his title of Ford county spelling bee champion. After seeing the movie Akelia and the Bee he said “ It will be hard work but I can do it, if I put my mind to it.” He started the year out on the B honor roll again. The boy is focused. Dare I say maybe even a bit obsessed, But I think that is a good thing. He has a carrier plan to be a scientist working at NASA by the time he is 30. At this rate I think he will pull it off. He is a member of the Educational talent search, which means he has already started touring collages, working on application essays, and Appling for scholarships. He wants to get into Harvard that is his school of choice. Too bad I’m not rich. If I could get him in I would.
Harley isn’t doing as well with his school work. Seems it can’t make it from his desk to the turn in pile. But he is in the regular class room most of the time. He only goes to the developmental class room for tests, reading, and spelling. Everything thing else has finally caught up to his 4th grade level. Except his maturity, but his teacher say he has matured a lot already and that the rest will come with time. Other than that he is 100% Harley, you got to kick start him in the morning and chain him down at night. It’s always hard to be a Harley in the winter because of his health, he can’t go play in the cold like other kids. So he gets restless and who can blame him. I think this year will be better since he has mastered several games and he has the computer online all the time.
So that’s about it from willows world. Enjoy the pics! Bright Blessings to ALL.
Okay here are pics from KCRF and TRF.

Needless to say house breaking could be going better………..

And this is there favorite place to sleep, yes in the trash basket for my room. I bet they are glad we look before we throw out the trash.
Just had to share these! Love and Light

They have some cool variations
this is the front walk of the house. By next year you won’t be able to see the house for the flowers.
This is a shot of the back yard. You can’t tell it but there is a huge pumpkin patch just beyond the big tree.
Things are going okay around here. I got to go to K.C.R.F. last weekend. Of course I had a blast as always. I am planning to go to T.R.F. the weekend before Halloween. I’ll post pic’s of that soon enough. Allen has decided to go out for basketball. Harley is just having fun. They love being back in school.
My health is still crap, but, I will not let that keep me down. I will live life like I am dyeing since I am. We all should life after all is a disease, sexually transmitted, and terminal. I am just going a bit faster than my loved ones. I go on the 20th to an orthopedic surgeon. I managed to blow a disk coughing when I had bronchitis a few weeks ago. I don’t have to deal with the oncologist until January 07. My fibromyalgia is getting bad. It always gets worse when the cold weather hits. My doctor says it will only get worse. On the up side the morphine is good. The winter time blues have started early this year. I suppose it’s the pain. Any way that’s about it from Willows world.Bright Blessings to all

BLIND HORSE
Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it.
From a distance, each looks like every other horse. But if you stop your
car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing.
Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind.
His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home
for him. This alone is amazing.
If nearby and listening, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking
Around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the
Smaller horse in the field. Attached to her halter is a small bell. It
Lets her blind friend know where she is, so he can follow her.
As you stand and watch these two friends, you’ll see how she is always
checking on him, and that he will listen for her bell and then slowly
walk to where she is, trusting that she will not lead him astray. When
she returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, she Stops
occasionally and looks back, making sure her friend isn’t too far behind
to hear the bell.
Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away Just
because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges.
He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when
we Are in need. Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the
little Ringing bell of those who God places in our lives. Other times we
are the Guide horse, helping others see.
Good friends are like this ………. You don’t always see them, But you
know they are always there. Please listen for my bell and I’ll Listen
for yours.
BE KINDER THAN NECESSARY, FOR EVERYONE YOU MEET IS FIGHTING SOME KIND OF BATTLE.
