All is wonderful in Willow's World!
So as usual things are fabulous at the zoo. Always some critter in need of attention! We have a new Lama named Mell. I'll have pics tomorrow. We are waiting for a new Marmoset monkey to come join our current Marmoset who spent his whole life in a lab and doesn't know how to be a real monkey. We are hoping the new monkey will help him to relax and maybe even go out side.
The female Timber wolf has made a show of claiming me as the "dormant bitch" it's really very sweet but I'm still not going in the cage! I find that every day they are doing wild tricks trying to get my attention while I'm in the big cat cages. yipping and howling jumping and barking. They really act like over grown German Shepard.
For the first time today Robin decided he would use me as a tree while I was trying to feed him. so I spent half an hour hand feeding a Raccoon.
The kids "baby goats" let me pick them up today and brush them. I think I might buy one from the zoo to have here at my home zoo. speaking of which here are the new additions to the home zoo. Introducing Patches and the un-named Kitty.
Patches is a pit bull mix about 6 months old. The un-named Kitty is about 3 weeks weighing in at 1 and 1/3 pounds. Both are up for adoption. If you would like to adopt an animal I have many more up for adoption. I will put up a link to the adoption page soon.
Dodge city days is going on right now so I have to deal with a lot of drunk widgets harassing my animals at the zoo. I can't wait till it's over! 10 day's of a drunken party going on just outside the zoo in Wright park. Should prove for some interesting moments like when I found a guy trying to feed a peacock a snickers bar today. LOL
Anyway that's about all from me today!
had to add that!
this art is done by a very talented lady check her out
